PodBooking // The social networking app for Podcasting

Whether you are new to podcasting or a seasoned pro, you’re probably happy to talk about podcasts and podcasting all the time. But the chances to socialise and network with others in the podcast industry can be few and far between at the moment. Wouldn’t it be great if there was another way to connect with new people in podcasting? We recently spoke to Daniela Garcia, creator of a new app, PodBooking, which lets you do just that.

What is PodBooking?

D: PodBooking is the only social networking app exclusively for the industry of Podcasting. We connect hosts with potential guests, sponsors, tools, and service providers that could help them take their shows to the next level.

What made you want to build this?

I was in the process of promoting my book A Kind of a Big Deal by going on different Podcast shows and one night I was telling my husband how hard it must be for people who are less extroverted than I am, to just reach out to Podcast hosts about being on their shows. So I thought, if only there were a place for that, and I started building it. Then I found out that there were spaces for Guests and Hosts to connect but nothing for the industry as a whole. So my focus pivoted to more networking opportunities for Podcasters outside of existing social networks where they are trying to engage with their audience instead.

Can anyone join PodBooking?

No, our platform is exclusively for members of the Podcasting community. So, potential guests, Hosts, of course, Businesses interested in finding shows to sponsor, Tools/Service providers within the industry, and of course Podcasting Thought Leaders.

How much is it to join?

It is totally FREE to join PodBooking and always will be. Unlike other social networks that are “Free” but sell your information – PodBooking is built on the principle that your privacy should be private, so join with the peace of mind that you won’t be receiving a ton of spam or be geotargeted by our partners.

What will the new PodBible space provide?

We are so proud to be partnering with PodBible in this new space! What’s the biggest lie you once believed was true?

Haha! My Mom told me that I was allergic to Peanuts once in the grocery store so I would stop asking for Peanut Butter. I believed her for YEARS and actually just 2 years ago find out it wasn’t true. I’m the picture they use in the Dictionary next to the word Gullible.
