The Pod Bible Podcast is the podcast podcast where podcasters talk to podcasters about podcasts and podcasting. Does it get anymore meta?

The show is hosted mostly hosted by Pod Bible editor Adam Richardson and occasionally features fellow Pod Bible co-founders Stu Whiffen and Scroobius Pip.

Every fortnight we bring you a bite size, magazine style show featuring three guests talking about their show or the shows they enjoy listening to. The aim is to give you a chance to hear from your favourite podcasters while also introducing you to people and podcasts you may not be aware of yet.

Guests include the people behind podcasts such as Off Menu, No Such Thing As A Fish, Football Ramble, Griefcast, Films To Be Buried With, The Receipts, Drunk Women Solving Crime and many, many more. Let’s spread the word of pod!

The Pod Bible Podcast is available to listen to on Acast, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and all good podcast outlets!

5 podcasts you’ll love if you love The Moth

    By September 17, 2021

In my opinion, narrative non-fiction is the ultimate podcast style. You get the entertainment of storytelling with the rawness of reality and the simplicity of a single voice. What’s more, the stories are usually told by the writers themselves, given us lived experiences from the horse’s mouth. If you’ve heard one narrative non-fiction podcast, my bet is it’s probably The...

    By September 8, 2021

In each issue of the magazine, we ask a Podcast Disciple five questions about their love of podcasts and podcasting. For Issue #006 of the Pod Bible magazine we were joined by Dr Suzi Gage, from Say Why To Drugs! Why do you love podcasts? My work means a lot of travelling to conferences or to give guest lectures, so...

Where to start with The Adam Buxton Podcast

    By September 7, 2021

There aren’t many podcasters more widely and warmly regarded than Adam Buxton, AKA Dr Buckles, AKA Count Buckules. Since 2015 he’s been talking to comedians, writers and musicians, though usually only in passing about their comedy, writing and music. Without any gimmicky formats or forced jollity, The Adam Buxton Podcast has been the gold standard of interview podcasts for a...

Podcaster // Fun interviews with The Voice of Pod

    By August 27, 2021

Podcasting is a very friendly business, and you often get to hear your favourite podcasters on the other side of the mic when they guest on other shows (including ours!). So you may wonder if you need another podcast exclusively for interviewing podcasters. When the interviewer is a robot called V asking existential questions, the answer is definitely yes! You...

7 of the best sleep podcasts to help you doze off

    By August 12, 2021

Sleep podcasts have boomed over the last year and a half. I’m a total convert myself. When things started getting very, very sketchy in March 2020, I stopped sleeping properly. You might well have struggled too. Frustrated one night, I put on BBC Sounds’ Sleeping Forecast and found what felt like nirvana. It was blissful. Over the next six months...

INTERVIEW // Holly Rubenstein from The Travel Diaries

    By August 10, 2021

Many people have found solace in travel podcasts whilst travel has been curtailed during the pandemic. But one travel podcast has resonated with many listeners (35,000+ a week in fact) through its mix of nostalgia for special places and the familiarity of celebrities we feel we know. As it recently hit a 2 year podcast birthday, we spoke to Holly...

Interview // Neutrinowatch is an ever-changing show

    By August 5, 2021

Podcasts are particularly well placed to experiment with audio in a risk-free way. Martin Zaltz Austwick (Answer Me This, Maddie’s Sound Explorers and Song by Song) and Jeff Emtman (Here Be Monsters, The Outer Reach) have certainly had fun experimenting with their latest project. Neutrinowatch is a fiction podcast that follows John Welles, a scientist studying neutrinos in Western Antarctica....

    By July 6, 2021

After nearly 18 months stuck on our island, thoughts of travel seem to be more incessant than ever.
