]]>POD BIBLE: Who are you and what’s your podcast about?
EMMA SAYLE: I’m Emma Sayle, founder and CEO of Killing Kittens, a female sexuality empowerment company and co host of Killing Kittens – The Naked Truth Podcast co-hosted by Emma Kenny and Harriet Minter. We discuss everything from sex and relationships to body image and kinks with a mix of celebrity guests and experts thrown in the mix every week, with nothing off limits.
PB: What’s the first podcast you ever listened to?
ES: The Tim Ferriss Show.
PB: Why did you decide to start podcasting in the first place?
ES: For some time, we have been increasing the educational side of KK, with more and more workshops, panel debates and talks with amazing experts. We wanted to bring those conversations into the mainstream to help normalise the sex conversation. Launching a podcast was the obvious place to bring these conversations. Emma Kenny and Harriet Minter are two very open, sex-positive media commentators and also friends of mine, so we knew it would be an open, honest and frank conversation if the three of us got together as co-hosts.
PB: Which podcasts do you take inspiration from?
ES: Any podcasts where I can learn more about myself from a business perspective e.g. Moonshots, to spiritual ones e.g. Oprah’s Soul Sessions. Any podcasts with Brené Brown, I can’t get enough of; I find her unbelievably inspiring and just very real and relatable.

PB: Who’s your dream guest for the podcast?
ES: Dolly Parton! She’s literally my total childhood hero and continues to be!
PB: What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learnt so far as a podcaster?
ES: That it’s not a case of ‘build it and they shall come’, you have to really work on the marketing side of it! And also don’t assume that everyone wants to listen to the dulcet tones of your voice.
PB: Which episode would you say is the perfect introduction to your podcast?
ES: Episode 3 with the actor and writer Noel Clarke is great, as he’s so open about being a feminist and how he sees the whole female sexuality movement, so its a great mix of all things KK across the sexes.
PB: Where can the Pod Bible readers find out more about you?
ES: via the website!
