The Pod Bible Podcast is the podcast podcast where podcasters talk to podcasters about podcasts and podcasting. Does it get anymore meta?
The show is hosted by Pod Bible editor Adam Richardson and occasionally features fellow Pod Bible co-founders Stu Whiffen and Scroobius Pip.
We bring you a bite size, magazine style show featuring three guests talking about their show or the shows they enjoy listening to. The aim is to give you a chance to hear from your favourite podcasters while also introducing you to people and podcasts you may not be aware of yet.
Guests include the people behind podcasts such as Off Menu, No Such Thing As A Fish, Football Ramble, Griefcast, Films To Be Buried With, The Receipts, Drunk Women Solving Crime and many, many more. Let’s spread the word of pod!
The Pod Bible Podcast is available to listen to on Acast, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and all good podcast outlets!

REVIEW // California Love & the Compton Cowboys
August 7, 2020“LAist Studios exists to tell LA stories to the world.” That’s what you find in the “about” section of LAist Studios content, including Walter Thompson-Hernandez’s show California Love. The recent flight of shows from LAist Studios includes programs like Hollywood, The Sequel which explores how the entertainment industry can (and should) evolve, and Tell Them, I Am where host Misha Euceph speaks with...

REVIEW // Origins: It’s All (Still) Happening
July 17, 2020In honor of Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous turning 20, James Andrew Miller devoted the most recent chapter of his podcast Origins to exploring the film. Currently, the podcast features six chapters, previously covering Curb Your Enthusiasm, ESPN, Nick Saban, SNL, and Sex and the City. Now, over five episodes, Miller interviews the people who were there, creating one of the...

REVIEW // Gee Thanks, I’m Sweating
July 15, 2020I love getting podcast recommendations; it’s what Pod Bible was built on, and it remains one of the best ways to discover new shows. Last week, a friend mentioned Gee Thanks, Just Bought It, a podcast hosted by Caroline Moss where her guests introduce her audience to a product they love and where to get one of their very own....

REVIEW // Blacticulate – Stories That Stick
July 7, 2020A few weeks ago, we recommended the nine-part podcast About Race with Reni Eddo-Lodge. At the end of those powerful episodes, Reni recommended several other programmes hosted by Black creators, which is how we came to learn about Blacticulate, a platform for elevating Black stories in the U.K. Founded by Ade Bamgbala, the platform produces podcasts, hosts workshops, and provides...

REVIEW // The Nod’s “The Cowboy of the West Village”
June 16, 2020Podcasts, as an artform or type of media, work best when they offer the listener something intimate. It could be a laugh, it could be solidarity, and it could be enlightenment. A few weeks ago when listening to the back catalogue of episodes available from a great podcast called The Nod (that has since moved to a new format over...

REVIEW // About Race with Reni Eddo-Lodge
June 10, 2020Over the past week, we at Pod Bible have been saving Instagram posts and bookmarking tweets about how to educate ourselves through audio and how to support Black voices in the podcasting world. As an American woman editing a predominantly British podcasting blog, I wanted to be sure that while I explored these well-crafted, informative and fun shows, I took...

REVIEW // A GIANT Surprise
May 29, 2020Yesterday was quite the day for U.K. football fans. Not only was a provisional date announced for the return of Premier League games, but our friends behind last year’s award-winning podcast series GIANT managed to sneak in a new, one-off episode alongside the team from World Cup-focused programme We Came to Win. Your friendly neighborhood Pod Bible folks joined the...

REVIEW // The Squiggly Careers Podcast
March 17, 2020As someone who tumbled sideways into career-focused podcasting last year, I am fascinated by how other people approach the space. And, perhaps more importantly, who those people are and what they are bringing to a chorus of often-times redundant advice. Enter the refreshing voices of Helen Tupper and Sarah Ellis of Amazing If and their podcast, Squiggly Careers. The fun,...
