CLASH OF THE TITLES
Alex Zane, Vicky Crompton and Chris Tilly go head to head in this movie podcast, a verbal duel to decide, definitively, which film out of a selection of 2-3 is the superior. Like all good podcasts, the group’s dynamic is the real star, whether it be celeb-story one-upmanship or Alex constantly looking for a piece of movie trivia Chris has yet to discover. Recent highlights include the 3-way bout of Batman vs The Dark Knight vs Joker, within which are detailed analyses about each protrayal of the clown prince of crime, and Shaun of the Dead vs Zombieland- one of which features Chris’ hand appearing at a window in a pivotal scene!

In this very special edition of the podcast which prides itself on gossip, rumours and backfence prittle-prattle, Poppy, David and Joe hear the greatest single story ever to have been featured on Gossipmongers. The episode features a story which takes place in a tent, during a wedding, in Essex which caused me to have to pull over while driving as I was nearly sick from laughing. The less you know, the better, but for God’s sake go and give this a listen!

I’m not a huge wrestling fan these days, but I did previously dabble with sports entertainment some years ago. One of my favourite wrestlers during that time was CM Punk and I found him to be a fascinating person. It’s amazing how many wrestlers are high school nerds in jock bodies! In this second round of conversation with host Chris Hardwick, the pair discuss keeping a healthy routine, the differences Punk has felt in training for wrestling versus training for MMA and (here’s the nerd bit) the best finds in antique shops!
